Tim Holtz Class Show & Tell

These are the tags I made for the class:
Blended Distress/Spritz & Flick

Brushless Watercolor

Alcohol Ink Agates

Archival Resist

Watercoloring with Re-inkers

Custom Stamp Pad

Stained Kraft Resist

Stamping with Stains

Marbled Stains

more Marbled Stain Technique, I needed the practice!

After I got the hang of it, I fell in love with these backgrounds.

Nostalgic Batik

My favorite!! Rusted Enamel

I love the way this makes it look like old leather or a rusty car surface.
I want to do everything in this now!

Distress Powder Resist (kinda. I took a little license)

Pain Dabber Resist

Crackle Paint Resist
(Crackle is not really my medium. *sigh*)

Shattered Stains

Perfect Distress Mist

Perfect Distress

ooooooh!

Perfect Splatter Distress
Rock Candy Distress (kinda)

When I first found ink, Distress was the brand I started collecting. I wish this class had been available then! Tim's entire line is genius and beautiful. Alas, craft stores are not created equal and the ones in this area are seriously lacking in my opinion. More recently I have begun collecting inks that are easier to get and I've been happy. Taking this class, though, has made me remember why I fell in love with ink, and I suppose I'll have to use an online supplier so that I can collect more of Tim's stuff again.

For most of the techniques, I made 2 tags. This was either so I could try other brands or practice the technique more. Some things are definitely not my forte, and some are a little impractical for what I usually do. I thoroughly enjoyed the class though and I was thrilled to get to know a few new products that I bought just cause they looked cool, but had no idea how to use!

Please visit Tim's blog for more fantastic-ness, or take his class and learn all about it for yourself!

Thanks for visiting today!

You have done a wonderful job with the class. I have not had the time to to do to much with my newly found techniques, let alone post them. But I did really love the classes the the techniques learn.

Really great work. Love your colors and what you have done with them (especially Halloween ones).
